La neuvième journée de National Divisions 1 & 2 a été très disputée. Au terme de ce week-end, deux nouveaux leaders ont émergé, à savoir l’USBBRH et le Curepipe Starlight dans leur championnat respectif. En ce qu’il s’agit des Chebel Citizens et de Rivière du Rempart Starknitwear, ils continuent leur décente.
La rencontre entre l’USBBRH et le Centre technique national U20 en D1 a été la confrontation la plus suivie du programme. Une victoire des U20 les aurait maintenus aux commandes, mais les trois points sont revenus à la formation des villes sœurs qui, au passage, détrône les U20. C’est par l’entremise de Jerry Njike que les rouge et blanc se sont imposés sur le score de 1-0. Opposés aux PAS Mates, les PL Blackhorns sont passés à côté de leur match en s’inclinant 1-2. Si l’AS Quatre-Bornes a signé sa première victoire face à Upper Vale Starlight SC 1-0, les coéquipiers de Mervyn Jocelyn, joueur de Chebel, ont été tenus en échec par le Faucon Flacq SC sur le score de 1-1.
La bande à Benjamin Théodore et son assistant Christopher Perle, le CSSC, a pris le dessus sur l’US Trou-aux-Biches 2-1, cela par l’entremise d’Aurélien Perle et de Matteo Monplé. Une victoire qui permet aux Curepipiens de prendre la première place de la D2 et être la première formation à s’imposer face aux Nordistes en championnat. Le Mangalkhan SC grimpe sur le podium à la suite de sa victoire 2-0 face aux GBA Rovers. Si la Cure Waves a enregistré une nouvelle défaite face au Chamarel SC 0-2, on notera le carton des U17 face à RdR Starknitwear. Les U17 se sont imposés sur le score de 6-1, dont un quadruplé de Miguel Arsenius.
