Lee Dong-hyeon, CEO of the agricultural corporation Misillan, has been producing rice in an environmentally friendly way – organic and without pesticide. He also focused on processing the organic grains into convenient and healthy food products. Misillan thus developed diverse rice-based products such as mixed grain powder which has become a best-selling item. The company shipped 1.5 tons as exports to the United States last year. “We focused on differentiating it with other products in the market, to satisfy customers with both taste, nutrition and digestion.”
