La vice PM Leela Devi Dookhun-Luchoomun, le professeur Louis Garron et le Dr Sudhir Hazareesingh faits GCSK

À l’occasion de la fête nationale 2020 et sur les conseils de l’honorable Pravind Kumar Jugnauth, Premier ministre, Son Excellence M. Prithvirajsing ROOPUN, GCSK, président de la République, a eu le plaisir de décerner les décorations à ceux qui selon eux ont grandement contribué au développement ou à l’image du pays dans des domaines variés..

Parmi ces personnalités primées, on retrouve au haut du tableau, la vice PM Leela Devi Dookhun-Luchoomun, ministre de l’Education pour sa contribution dans le domaine de l’éducation et de la politique,  le professeur Robert Louis Garron pour son apport dans le champ du Judiciaire et le Dr Sudhir Hazareesingh pour son expertise dans le domaine académique. Ils  ont tous trois obtenus la plus haute décoration de la république qui est le Grand commander of the Order of the Star and Key of the Indian Ocean (GCSK).

En tant que Grand Officer of the Order of the Star and Key of the Indian Ocean(GOSK), ont été décorés VInod Goburdhun pour sa contribution dans les secteur public, Le père Alain Harel pour son travail dans le secteur religieux et social et  Michel Lan Kwet Hian  pour son apport dans le domaine du business. Puis on retrouve dans cette liste  Satterdeo Peerthum primé pour son travail dans le domaine de l’éducation et du social et le disparu Veerenedra Ramdhun pour son apport  dans le secteur de la Culture et du travail social .

A noter parmi les décorés du CSK, la présence du Dr Issa Asgarally, de Carlo de Souza et  du Dr Kowlessur et ceux qui ont obtenus le OSK, le chef météorologue Premchand Goolaup, le musicien Gerard Louis et le sportif Eric Milazar parmi les plus connus.
