Le latéral gauche anglais Luke Shaw a ouvert la marque à la 2e minute et le défenseur central italien Leonardo Bonucci a égalisé à la 67e. Le gardien italien Gianluigi Donnarumma a offert le titre aux Italiens en arrêtant un ultime tir au but anglais de Saka. L’Italie succède au Portugal, sacré en 2016 en France.
