Maya Hanoomanjee a comparu en cour hier matin avant sa démission en tant que ministre de la Santé pour un sms jugé « outrageant ». Elle est le témoin principal dans le procès qui est intenté à Mamanand Balloo. Cet habitant (32 ans) de Palma à Quatre-Bornes est poursuivi « for using a telecommunication service for the transmission of a message which is of menacing character », accusation qui tombe sous les articles 46 (h) (1) et 47 de l’Information and Communication Technologies (ICTA) Act.
