La Santé a signifié son intention d’avoir recours aux services d’une firme de consultants afin d’améliorer le système de ventilation dans la salle d’autopsie de l’hôpital SSRN, à Pamplemousses. L’objectif est de pouvoir autopsier des cas positifs du Covid.
« The ministry of Health and Wellness intends to proceed with the autopsy of Covid positive cases at the autopsy room of Mortuary Unit at SSRN Hospitals. In view of improving the ventilation and air conditioning system thereat, a thorough analysis of the existing infrastructure, HVAC systems and allied services, and structural changes as may be required, together with the review of the electrical feeders and existing equipment need to be assessed », explique un document officiel à ce sujet.
